New York Knicks owner James Dolan has lorded over a franchise that has experienced one of the more embarrassing decades in NBA history. His solution to fixing those problems apparently includes recording a song called "Fix the Knicks" with his blues band JD & The Straight Shot, an actual band that opened for Aretha Franklin and has all of four fans on YouTube.
Sadly for Knicks fans, the song doesn't feature Dolan singing the words "Fire James Dolan" over and over again.
Instead, the lyrics are pretty hilarious, unless you're a Knicks. They refer to Dolan's "friend Isiah Thomas" and include lines about how the critics don't know anything. They're below.

Everywhere I go, I hear everybody say
'What you gonna do to make that team play'
From the folks in the street at 34th and 6th
Everyone who calls says, 'Hey man, fix the Knicks'
(Chorus)
Fix the Knicks and make them shine
Get 'em to win like it's '69 (not exact)
Hitting all their free throws and no more shooting bricks
Time to get it right and fix the Knicks
Doing my best and that's my problem
I check with my friend called Isiah Thomas (crowd groans)
Pay no mind to those nasty critics
They haven't done a thing to fix the Knicks
(Chrous)
Fix the Knicks and make them shout
Get on and win like it's '69 (not exact)
Hit all their free throws and don't want to shoot bricks
Time to let it ride and fix the Knicks
We know we're getting better, but still no respect
We score a lot of points, but where's the defense?
Everyone's an expert saying 'Trade your draft picks'
You got to get 'this guy' to fix the Knicks
(Chorus, X2)
Fix the Knicks and make them shout
Get on and win like it's '69 (not exact)
Hit all their free throws and don't want to shoot bricks
Time to let it ride and fix the Knicks
