Over at NFL.com, Michael Fabiano chimes with a waiver wire piece for Week 10. Lots of the usual suspects including Ladell Betts for Clinton Portis, but how about a Bucs QB? Sure enough, Josh Freeman is on the radar after producing three TDs in his first start for Tampa Bay. Rookie QBs are a gamble but if you’ve been having QB issues, maybe the kid is worth a try.
If we’ve learned anything from Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan and Mark Sanchez over the last two years, it’s that rookie quarterbacks can sometimes make an impact in fantasy circles. Freeman further proved that in Week 9, posting 205 passing yards and three touchdowns in a win over the Packers. If you’re in a deeper league or need to start two quarterbacks, Freeman is worth a look.
