From Eagles Insiders:
Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb, who missed the last two games with a broken rib, will join running back Brian Westbrook in the starting lineup when the Eagles (2-1) meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-4) at 1 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. […]
"I feel pretty good and excited about getting back out there on the field and getting this offense going," McNabb said. "It’s a process you go through when you injure your rib and patience is something you have to have.
"When it comes to rib injuries, especially a fracture, it’s about a 6-8 week process before it heals."
So despite the slow healing process, it appears McNabb is set to go on Sunday, and Kevin Kolb will return to the bench as his backup, along with Michael Vick, who's role in the Philly offense is still being defined.
