Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- The word going around is that Sting was in Orlando recently to work out his segment with Triple H at Fastlane this Sunday and he will do the same when it comes time to work out their match at WrestleMania 31.
- The stuff between Jon Stewart and Seth Rollins was done to help push Fastlane and get people talking about WWE.
- AJ Lee is still out dealing with injury but there have been rumblings that there could be another reason she hasn't been brought back yet, according to the Observer. No word on what exactly that reason would be, though.
- Speaking of returns, Randy Orton has been removed from all advertising for upcoming television tapings on WWE.com but the plan, at last word, is still for an Orton vs. Rollins match at WrestleMania 31.
- While Stardust vs. Goldust is booked for Fastlane this weekend, that doesn't necessarily rule out the two having a match at WrestleMania. According to PW Insider, that could still happen and it could be Goldust's farewell and the big push to get Stardust started up in his singles career again.
