First:
Rysheed Jordan is out with the flu tonight, and won't be on the bench. Who takes his minutes? Myles Stewart? Balamou? Jordan's defensive length is a factor on the floor, and the other players really can't replicate that.
Second:
Mike Caffey and Tyler Lamb are two wings who have scored 39% of the Long Beach State points so far this season. LBSU lost to Texas on Saturday, but may have found an answer to their lac of big men with Jack Williams' performance. He is a 6'8" freshman who scores four points per game.
In the preview, we noted Mike Caffey as the deadly scorer. St. John's needs to isolate him and Lamb, and make them create on their own, under pressure. That should favor St. John's, assuming their defensive rotations are decent.
Predict something we will see tonight! And let's start commenting!
