Manchester United are really doing a fine job of putting pressure on City in the early going, harassing their hosts whenever they're in possession and preventing them getting the ball anywhere near the danger zone. City are also turning the ball over to the visitors' forwards too often in the earlier stages, and with Paul Scholes lurking United are able to spring some pretty scary-looking counterattacks. He and Nani combine to release Phil Jones down the right flank, but the young defender's cross is overhit and Joe Hart can collect.
When City do finally manage to get forward, their play is pretty easily defended and United can break, only for Nani's touch to take the ball too far away from him with only Joleon Lescott to beat. That was a real chance there, and the Portuguese will be disappointed with himself over that one. Still 0-0 here.
