San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson has been hampered by injuries much of the 2011 season, but he has managed to battle through them and put up solid numbers thus far. In week four, while dealing with leg and abdominal issues, Jackson played only 22 snaps but still managed 108 yards and a touchdown.
Jackson continues to be quite limited in practice and sat out Wednesday's session. He was apparently in a somewhat similar condition to last Monday and he was able to bounce back quite well from that point. That would seem to indicate he is on the mend. One difference is this leg strain he's been dealing with recently came as a result of over-compensating for his abdominal problem.
All in all it is creating some problems for the receiver, but for now he's playing through it. You'll want to keep track of his work through the week and the inactive list on Sunday, but otherwise all you can do is keep slotting him into your starting lineup. The Chargers do have a bye in two weeks, which can not come soon enough for Jackson.
