The St. Louis Rams are making moves now that free agency is officially open for business. They already added S Al Harris and now the latest news is that former Jacksonville Jaguars WR Mike Sims-Walker is coming to town. No word on the length or amount on his contract but Sims-Walker confirmed the news himself via Twitter:
Last nite in orlando, got a early morning flight to catch to the midwest.... Yea its official I'm a RAM!!!!!!
The Rams are adding more weapons for WR Sam Bradford, something a quarterback won't complain about. I really do think Sims-Walker has a chance to do well in St. Louis. If I'm a young receiver, I wouldn't mind being paired with an up-and-coming quarterback like Bradford.
Sims-Walker has been in the league for four years after the Jaguars selected him in the third round of the 2007 NFL draft . He spent his rookie season on IR only to bounce back in 2009 and lead the team in receptions and yards.
