In today's marquee college basketball game, Ohio State travels to West Lafayette to take on Purdue in a matchup of the Big Ten's top two teams.
The second-ranked Buckeyes lead the Big Ten with a 12-1 record in conference, and can all but seal a regular-season conference championship with a victory over Purdue today. But the Boilermakers have been valiant all year after a season-ending injury robbed them of Robbie Hummel before the season even began, and JaJuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore could help Purdue upset the Big Ten's behemoth today.
Ohio State will rely on Jared Sullinger inside, and likely feed him again and again. He averages more than a double-double, and is a likely National Player of the Year candidate. The Buckeyes have also been buoyed by the play of freshman point guard Aaron Craft.
For Purdue, recovering from its first meeting with Ohio State will be an important part of today's game. The Buckeyes stomped Purdue, 87-64, in Columbus in January.
