Demaryius Thomas didn't have an ideal rookie season, missing seven games with various leg injuries. His bad injury luck has continued, as the Denver Broncos WR just suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon during offseason workouts in Atlanta, according to the Denver Post. The tear will reportedly require surgery.
Thomas now stands to miss at least part of the 2011 season, though a full tear would sideline him for the entire year.
When he was able to get on the field, Thomas was an effective option for the Broncos passing game, catching nearly 100 yards worth of passes in his first game and scoring a touchdown over Darrelle Revis. But
The receiver from Georgia Tech broke his foot before the 2010 NFL Draft, re-injured the same foot during training camp, and suffered an ankle injury late in the regular season that put him in street clothes for the remainder of the season.
