The day's most important NFL game is taking place in frigid Green Bay.
The 8-6 Packers and 9-5 Giants need wins to stay in the running for the NFC's wild card spots; the Packers must win today's game to stay in playoff contention. And Green Bay is likely getting Aaron Rodgers back after a concussion kept him out of the Packers' loss to New England last week.
The Packers are also the team with less momentum, despite the Giants' collapse against the Eagles last week. Green Bay's lost three of four games, and cannot win the NFC North.
Look for Rodgers to have a big day if he is indeed healthy and the Green Bay line can handle the Giants' rush. And the Packers' defense, which played better against the Patriots than the 31 points allowed would suggest, will have its own hands full with a dominant Giants running game and a passing game that has been bolstered by the return of Hakeem Nicks from injury.
