There's some notable injuries to big names this week including Adrian Peterson, Ben Roethlisberger, Colt McCoy, & Marion Barber. Not to mention virtually everyone who plays WR for the Giants. Check out the full team by team injury reports to see what effect these will have on your fantasy lineup.
ATLANTA FALCONS at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
The Falcons could be down two RBs in this game with both Jason Snelling and Antone Smith questionable with hamstring injuries. The top guy, Michael Turner, is just fine but if he got knicked up in this game the Falcons depth is very thin.
BUFFALO BILLS at MINNESOTA VIKINGS
TE Shawn Nelson will miss this game with an illness. G Eric Wood is out with an ankle.
The Vikings are beat up coming into this one with DE Ray Edwards (ankle), WR Percy Harvin (illness), G Steve Hutchinson (thumb), WR Greg Lewis (concussion), RB Adrian Peterson (ankle) all questionable. Obviously the big one is Peterson, the Vikings say he will be a game time decision but Peterson says he'll play. Despite AP's bravado, if his ankle still is bothering him the Vikings could decide the best idea is to just sit him in game that really doesn't have any meaning at this point.
CAROLINA PANTHERS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
The Carolina Panthers QB situation continues to be a complete mess. Tony Pike has been put on IR with a shoulder injury despite the fact he's really never played. Brian St. Pierre, who was a stay at home dad a few weeks ago that they signed off the street is questionable with a shoulder injury. They just signed Keith Null off the street to backup Jimmy Claussen, who will start this week.
For the Seahawks, both WR Mike Williams and TE John Carlson are questionable.
CHICAGO BEARS at DETROIT LIONS
As if this matchup didn't favor the Bears enough... The Lions will be without QBs Matt Stafford and Shaun Hill, which means Drew Stanton will get the start. DE Kyle Vanden Bosch is doubtful with a neck injury and T Gosder Cherilus is listed as questionable.
CLEVELAND BROWNS at MIAMI DOLPHINS
The question for the Browns this week is whether Colt McCoy and Joshua Cribbs can go. Cribbs did practice Friday and despite being questionable looks like he could go. The news is not so good for McCoy, who did not practice all week and is considered doubtful.
For Miami, Brandon Marshall is questionable with a hamstring.
DALLAS COWBOYS at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
RB Marion Barber has been ruled out for a couple of weeks with a calf injury. Felix Jones and Tashard Choice will split carries in his absence.
The Colts look like they'll be without Joseph Addai again as he's doubtful. RB Mike Hart and WR Reggie Wayne (knee) are questionable for Indy.
DENVER BRONCOS at KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Rookie WR Demaryius Thomas and almost as far from rookie as you can get S Brian Dawkins are out for Denver.
For KC, they could be down to corners with Jackie Bates ruled out and standout Brandon Flowers listed as questionable.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS at TENNESSEE TITANS
Mike Sims-Walker has been ruled out for the Jags.
The Titans will get QB Kerry Collins back this week and are hopeful of also getting back WR Kenny Britt, who is listed as questionable.
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS at CINCINNATI BENGALS
RB Ledell Betts is out for the Saints, but they may get RB Pierre Thomas back. The RB has missed most of the year, but did practice in a limited capacity this week.
OAKLAND RAIDERS at SAN DIEGO CHARGERS
TE Zach Miller has a fibula injury that has him questionable this week.
The Chargers will be without WRs Patrick Crayton and Vincent Jackson. WR Malcolm Floyd is questionable this week as is TE Antonio Gates. So it's possible that Phillip Rivers could be facing a serious lack of weapons this week.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at GREEN BAY PACKERS
Obviously Frank Gore is done for the year now so Brian Westbrook gets the start. Westbrook is nursing an ankle injury, but he's been doing that for the past 5 years.
ST. LOUIS RAMS at ARIZONA CARDINALS
No TE Michael Hoomanawanu for the Rams this week.
WASHINGTON REDSKINS at NEW YORK GIANTS
The Skins secondary continues to be depleted as both Laron Landry and Carlos Rogers are out vs the Giants. Also as usual, Washington has listed half of it's team as Questionable.
LB Lorenzo Alexander (hamstring), WR Brandon Banks (knee), G Derrick Dockery (knee), DE Kedric Golston (elbow, groin), DT Albert Haynesworth (illness), G Artis Hicks (thigh), DE Jeremy Jarmon (hamstring), S Kareem Moore (knee), WR Santana Moss (knee), LB Brian Orakpo (ankle), C Casey Rabach (knee), RB Ryan Torain (hamstring), WR Roydell Williams (foot), T Trent Williams (shoulder)
If the way they've used the questionable designation all year is any indication, all those guys will probably be fine.
The Giants might not be able to take advantage of the beat up Skins secondary with top WRs Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith both out for this weekend. They'll also be without LT Shawn Andrews.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS at BALTIMORE RAVENS on Sunday night
Ben Roethlisberger is going to start, but he is nursing a foot injury, the severity of which the Steelers are keeping quiet. Ben was limited in practice all week.
NEW YORK JETS at NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS on Monday night
The only things we know for sure here are that Jim Leonhard for the Jets and Steven Neale for the Pats have been put on IR.
