The Washington Redskins got a huge win against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, winning 19-16. That's the good news. The bad news is that it cost the Redskins dearly in terms of injuries, with many players going down during the game.
We'll get to those specific injuries in a bit, but first, let's discuss the players that did not play in the game. Starters Laron Landry, Ryan Torain, Carlos Rogers and Artis Hicks missed the game. As of right now, it looks like Landry and Torain certainly will not play next week against the Minnesota Vikings.
In his Monday press conference, coach Mike Shanahan said that Landry is "98 percent" unlikely to play next Sunday with an achilles injury. Meanwhile, Torain is also a "longshot," while Rogers' status is still up in the air. Via Grant Paulsen of 106.7 The Fan.
Shanahan says he's 98 percent sure Landry will be out this weekend. Rogers' status is still TBD... Torain's a long-shot to play as of now.
The four players did not even make the trip to Tennessee last weekend.
