It's a rough week for RBs this time around as a few teams are scratching their heads as to who is going to carry the rock tomorrow. Don't be one of those.... Get the team by team injury reports for Week 11 and set your fantasy lineups accordingly.
Arizona Cardinals At Kansas City Chiefs
The weekly "will he or won't he" game we seem to have been playing all season with Beanie Wells was on again this week. The RB missed last week because of a reaction to lubricant that was shot into his knee, but despite being listed as questionable for this week he is expected to play.
The Chiefs will be without standout rookie TE Tony Moeaki as he gets over a head injury. They may also be without rookie WR/KR Dexter McCluster, who has missed the past three games with an ankle injury.
Atlanta Falcons At St. Louis Rams
DE John Abraham is questionable with a groin injury, which is good news for Sam Bradford owners. Although rookie LB Sean Weatherspoon thinks he'll be able to return from a knee injury that has cost him most of this season.
Baltimore Ravens At Carolina Panthers
The Panthers have been pretty much decimated. RB DeAngelo Williams is out for the year while his understudy, Jonathon Stewart, is out for another week with a concussion. They'll also be without QB Jimmy Clausen, so they've signed Brian St. Pierre who was not in a training camp this year and was literally a "stay at home dad" last week. You have to love all the confidence coming out of Carolina this weekend. Of St. Pierre Jon Fox said,
"The guy has been in some games," Fox said.
The quarterback himself was equally as reassuring.
"I know what the situation looks like to everyone," St. Pierre said. "It is what it is. I’m not going to complain about it."
The Ravens defense could literally have a Michael Vick type scoring day.
Shawne Merriman is out once again and has yet to play for the Bills since they signed him. Rookie
C.J. Spiller has also been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Oh and he
used a gay slur on twitter while joking around with another rookie from Clemson that's out injured... DE Ricky Sapp.
RB Cedric Benson is listed as questionable after missing practice on Wednesday and being limited for the rest of the week.
He is expected to play though.
Anyone else think it's funny that the Browns list
Jake Delhomme as "questionable" every week? Of actual concern to the Browns is the status
Joshua Cribbs, who is questionable after dislocating four toes last week. The Browns don't expect him
to be ready to play.
The Jaguars are likely to be without WR Mike Sims-Walker who is listed as doutbful.
Still no Matt Stafford for the Lions. TE Tony Scheffler is questionable with a shoulder.
CB Terence Newman is questionable for Dallas.
Donald Driver is questionable with a quad injury.
Bernard Berrian is questionable for the Vikings although WR Sidney Rice, who has missed the entire season so far,
intends to play.
TE Owen Daniels is out with a hamstring while QB Matt Schaub is questionable after being hospitalized this week. He is expected to play though.
The Jets will be without WR Jericho Cotchery.
As has been the case with the Colts all year, most of their skill players are listed as questionable. RB Joseph Addai (neck), WR Austin Collie (concussion), TE Brody Eldridge (rib), RB Mike Hart (ankle), WR Reggie Wayne (knee), WR Blair White (shoulder).
CB Nnamdi Asomugha is questionable for the Raiders defense. TE Zach Miller and WR Darrius Heyward-Bey are also questionable.
WR Hines Ward suffered a concussion last week, but looks like he'll play after being designated as probable.
The big news is that Reggie Bush might actually be ready to return this weekend. Hard to say what kind of fantasy impact he'll have in his first game back from a broken leg.
LT Joe Staley is out for the 49ers and they're reportedly about to bench RT Anthony Davis, so the Bucs defense here might not be a bad play.
It looked like there was a chance RB Ryan Torain could go for the Redskins last week, but in pregame warmups it became apparent he wasn't ready. The Skins won't take that chance again and have already ruled him out.
Clinton Portis says
he's a 50-50 shot to play.
The Giants are beat up on the offensive line and will be without David Diehl and Shaun O'Hara. They'll also likely be without Shawn Andrews, who missed practice all week. The G-men will also be without WRs Ramses Barden & Steve Smith.
