The New Jersey Nets (2-5) will attempt to stop their five-game losing streak and a void a home-and-home sweep when they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers (4-3) at Quicken Loans Arena.
Byron Scott's Cavs are riding high on a three game winning streak -- all on the road -- and return home looking to build on their lead atop the Central division. Tuesday night in Newark Cleveland beat the Nets 93-91 lead by J.J. Hickson's 18 points to go along with five other players scoring in double figures.
Forward Travis Outlaw was New Jersey's leading scorer in the first game of this series with a season-high 27. The Nets will be hoping for a better effort from Brook Lopez as well as the second unit. After being outscored by the Cavaliers bench 52-15, Avery Johnson will look to see which of his reserves are ready to step up.
Cleveland swept the season series from New Jersey last year and after Tuesday night's victory have won nine straight over the Nets.
