Justin Blackmon has already blown by the 1,000-yard mark as a wide receiver at Oklahoma State. He has yet to record fewer than 125 yards' worth of catches in a 2010 game. He's the only receiver even being mentioned in mainstream outlets for Heisman candidacy, and he's only a sophomore.
This, of course, is about where the Dallas Cowboys come along and ruin everything:
A Carrollton, Texas, police spokesman has confirmed that Oklahoma State’s Justin Blackmon was arrested on a DUI complaint at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday.
The sophomore wide receiver, who does not turn 21 until January, and three friends were returning to Oklahoma after having attended the Dallas Cowboys’ game Monday night in Arlington.
Blackmon was clocked at 92 mph in a 60 mph zone, which does tend to draw attention, yes. He spent the night in jail and posted bond this morning. Any suspensions or further team discipline have yet to be formally announced.
