Judd Zulgad of StarTribune.com writes that Brett Favre's recent ankle surgery came off without a hitch but a decision on Favre's future is still a few weeks out.
Orthopedic surgeon James Andrews told the Associated Press on Wednesday there were no problems with the arthroscopic procedure, which removed scar tissue and bone spurs from Favre's ankle.
"It went fine,'' Andrews said after speaking at a luncheon at the Charlotte Touchdown Club. "He's rehabbing and trying to decide what he's going to do. I talked to him yesterday.
"We've got a few more weeks of rehabbing. I think he hasn't decided yet what he wants to do.''
