Giants quarterback Eli Manning left the game with a bruised heel earlier this afternoon. The Giants were leading 27-3 at that point, so it's unlikely Manning's absence was anything more than a precautionary measure. Nevertheless, the Associated Press reports:
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning bruised his heel in the fourth quarter against Kansas City on Sunday and left the game.
Manning seemed to be limping very slightly just moments before connecting with Hakeem Nicks on a 54-yard catch-and-run scoring play that put the Giants up 27-3. A team spokesman said he was not sure which heel was bruised.
