Darren McFadden wore the hard hat for Oakland today, carrying the rock 30 times for 145 yards. The Raiders held the Rams to only 210 yards while pouring on 404 of their own.
Benching Jason Campbell proved to be a good-enough decision for the Raiders, as Bruce Gradkowski averaged 7.4 yards per pass to Campbell’s 5.8.
Sam Bradford attempted fewer than half as many passes as last week, only throwing 25. The Rams only ran the ball 21 times, meaning the Rams did not perform very many offensive plays. Oakland held the ball for over 36 minutes.
The Raiders’ victory completed a 4-0 day for the AFC West, a rare treat for a division that has been, shall we say, top heavy of late.
