After Kevin Kolb left the game due to a jaw injury and then later after a concussion, Michael Vick filled in and led the Eagles back from 17 down to within a touchdown. Vick passed for 175 yards and ran for 103, perhaps his best game since week ten of 2005, when he passed for over 300 yards.
Aaron Rodgers retorted with 188 yards and a more quarterback-like nine yards rushing. Greg Jennings led all receivers with 82 yards.
Philly had a good chance to tie the game around the two-minute warning, but Andy Reid had consumed all three time outs and was thus unable to get the ball back after a Vick fourth-down conversion attempt was blown up.
