James Mirtle, general manager of Quebec, and Gabriel Desjardins, general manager of Winnipeg, each selected 26 players a piece. Originally, the plan was to select 30 players for each team, which would have resulted in a 60 player draft, however as the event progressed, the two GM's agreed that 26 players per team worked just fine.
No more than two players could be taken from each NHL team, and Pittsburgh was lucky enough to not have any players taken off of their roster. Teams could also not lose more than one defenseman OR one goaltender.
Here it is, the complete draft.

You'll notice that these two teams are, well, kind of weak. Normally, in a true expansion, these teams would have the ability to fully participate in summer free agency, thus bolstering their rosters . That's not the case in our draft, but when you think about it, they're not going to face off against real NHL clubs anyway, so it's not too big of an issue.
Later in the week, however, our fake Winnipeg Jets and our fake Quebec Nordiques will face off in a seven-game series against each other -- a battle for expansion supremacy. Stay tuned for that, and stay tuned to your favorite SB Nation team blog for their reaction to losing players in this expansion draft.
