On Wednesday, Phil Mickelson disclosed that he has been suffering from psoriatic arthritis since just prior to the US Open. He also shared that he received treatment for the condition at the Mayo Clinic to identify the condition and anti-inflammatory medication to treat the symptoms.
Mickelson has also said that he is struggling with the appropriate mix of diet and medication so that he feels his competitive best. Lefty has said he still feels “a little out of it” as he plays, which he may attribute his bad play to – including his lousy final round at Firestone last weekend.
