Eagles head coach Andy Reid said several weeks ago that they're listening to offers for any of their three quarterbacks. few of the teams involved included the Bills and Raiders. Now we've got one more name to add to the mix.
The Redskins.
Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports the Redskins "made [an] inquiry" about McNabb's availability.
This means that the Redskins are willing to replace the current starter Jason Campbell. McNabb is 34 and Campbell is 28 so that probably shows that they're willing to move on from him.
Looking into the future, you could interpret this as the Redskins maybe not wanting to take a quarterback in the draft. Sam Bradford will likely be gone but Jimmy Clausen almost assuredly will be available with the fifth pick. If the Redskins thought he could be "the man" moving forward, then why wouldn't they just pick him there?
Or it could just be the Redskins doing some due diligence on their options. Remember -- these aren't the "same old" Redskins with GM Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan.
