Orioles: Pitcher Koji Uehara will most likely start the season on the disabled list due to a strained left hamstring. Uehara came over from Japan last season, going 2-4 with a 4.05 ERA in 12 starts last season. ... Third baseman Garrett Atkins had a bad 2009 and is hard at work to make 2010 a better season with his new team.
Rays: The Rays need a much better season from Pat Burrell this year to make a playoff push. Burrell hit .221 with 14 home runs last season. ... Willy Aybar played some first base during a minor league game on Sunday and is expected to be healthy for Opening Day.
