Now don't get me wrong. I loved NBA Jam Session, and I'm heading back there in about fifteen minutes. I've returned to my hotel only to change clothes and get a few things for tonight's festivities (including my fully charged T-Mobile My Touch ... Which I'll be using for photos). But man, that place has a lot going on. Calling it a department store isn't quite accurate though. It has the same effects as a department store, whereby after while it's impossible not to feel just a little overwhelmed. But it's not quite a Macy's.
Does this map make you a little dizzy? Me too.
Imagine, instead, a basketball-themed amusement park. That, to me, sounds like basketball valhalla--there are games, obstacle courses, stores, and a slew of promotional exhibits set up with the sole intent of dazzling fans like me. This is good. But like any amusement park, there are downsides. The crowds are headache-inducing, the food's overpriced and terrible, and there are long lines for virtually everything. So what does it say that I'm in a hurry to get back? It's pretty freakin' awesome, despite all the drawbacks.
I'll probably add more later, but in the meantime, be sure to check my Twitter feed for more updates.
